Shri Ram Centennial School, Indore, became a hub of serenity and physical excellence on 27th December 2025, as it hosted the prestigious Inter-school Yoga Competition under the aegis of Indore Sahodaya Schools Complex, Cluster 4.
The day commenced with the traditional invocation of Goddess Saraswati, followed by a warm welcome to our esteemed panel of judges: Ma’am Rajul Matta and Mr. Neeraj Tiwari, both renowned Yoga practitioners and trainers.
Students from 11 prominent schools showcased remarkable discipline and grace. Participants from Grades III to VIII performed complex asanas, including Tittivasana (Firefly Pose), Matsyasana (Fish Pose), Purna Dhanurasana (Full Bow Pose), Shirshasana (Headstand) etc.
Our Principal, Ms. Sunita Singh Chouhan, along with the judges, lauded the participants for their incredible flexibility and focus. They emphasized the importance of Yoga in a student’s life and wished the young practitioners bright prospects in their future endeavors.
Adding a spiritual fervor to the event, the blossoming dancers of SRCS mesmerized the audience with a devotional Shiv Tandav performance.
The event concluded with a felicitation ceremony where certificates and medals were awarded to the winners:

The proceedings were seamlessly conducted by student orators Aashi Nahar and Avantika Goyal, followed by a Vote of Thanks by Samaira Sharma. The event concluded with the National Anthem.
