Navaratri and Dussehra Celebration

Navaratri and Dussehra Celebration

Navaratri is celebrated across India to worship the nine incarnations of Goddess Durga.

At SRCS, on this auspicious occasion, a grand Garba celebration was organised.

Children came to school in vibrant traditional dresses to offer prayers and receive the blessings of Maa Durga. They took part in the Garba celebration with great enthusiasm, joyfully performing Tali Garba and Dandia.

Principal Mrs. Sunita Singh Chouhan addressed the gathering and shared her valuable thoughts and wisdom about the significance of Navaratri.

After the Garba, the children of SRCS presented a graceful ballet (dance-drama) depicting the story of Sita Haran and the battle between Ram and Ravan. Their refined performance was warmly applauded by the audience.

The programme concluded with the symbolic Ravan Dahan, held on the school ground, marking the victory of good over evil.
