The air was electric with excitement and colour on the morning of November 14th at SRCS as students arrived in their vibrant best, eagerly anticipating the day's special celebrations.
This year, the Children's Day celebration was marked by a delightful surprise presentation put on entirely by the dedicated teachers. The morning assembly was led by the faculty, who shared the Word of the Day, Thought of the Day, Updated News, and the Importance of the Day, setting an inspiring tone.
The celebration then moved into a spectacular display of talent and affection from the mentors to their students. Highlights included:
• A soulful medley by the teacher choir.
• Enthralling solo song performances.
• Vigorous and entertaining group dances.
• A side-splitting Stand-up Comedy act.
Students were completely involved, singing along with their teachers and happily tapping their feet to the rhythms of their mentors' performances.
The event concluded with an address from the Principal, Ms. Sunita Singh Chouhan, who blessed the children and inspired them with her influential words of wisdom.
The day, initiated on a note of palpable excitement, culminated in a bundle of sweet memories, truly celebrating the spirit and joy of childhood.
